Anchorage Turkey Trot 2013

Thanksgiving is just 16 days away.  Will you be spending it will friends and family?  Have you decided on a menu?  Get into the spirit of the season at the Anchorage Turkey Trot 2013.

Where: Lidia Selkregg Chalet, Russian Jack Springs Park (1600 Lidia Selkregg Lane)
When: Saturday, Nov 16, 2013 1:30pm to 3pm
Cost: $5 per person

Don’t be scared.  The turkeys in the Anchorage Turkey Trot 2013 aren’t of the fowl variety.  Instead, volunteer “turkeys” dress up in paper feathers and run around as your child gives chase, trying to capture them.  The kids who grab the right feather win special prizes.  The race schedule and age breakdown for the Anchorage Turkey Trot 2013 are as follows:

• 1:30pm – Ages 3-5
• 2:00pm – Ages 6-8
• 2:30pm – Ages 9-12

Bring the kids to Russian Jack Springs Park this Saturday for the Anchorage Turkey Trot 2013.  Watch as the feathers fly while the “turkeys” play.  It will be an afternoon of fun for everyone.
