Anchorage Summer City Fair
The 2103 Anchorage Summer City Fair is going on now! Cuddy Family Midtown Park is where anybody who’s anybody wants to be. Going on now through the end of June, the Anchorage Summer City Fair is the only carnival in the entire state of Alaska.
What: Anchorage Summer City Fair 2013
Where: 201 E 40th in Anchorage
When: Everyday until June 30, 2013
Times: 12pm to 9pm Sundays through Thursdays, 12pm to 10pm Fridays and Saturdays
At the Anchorage Summer City Fair, attendees will have the opportunity to ride carnival rides, play traditional carnival games and eat lots of fair food. If the Tilt-a-Whirl, Cliff Hangar and Gravitron are not your cup of tea, there are other rides better suited for the carnival’s younger crowd, such as the Safari Train, Wacky Funhouse and the Orient Express. Catch a magic show with Don Russell. Visit the Northern Lights Nursery. You can even donate blood to the Blood Bank of Alaska when they set up shop at the Anchorage Summer City Fair on Saturday, June 22nd from 12pm to 6pm. There are limitless possibilities of things to do.
